Lehmann Erik Ebeltoft Red & Brown Stoneware Ashtray/Bowl

In the mid 1960s, Lehmann of Denmark created this unique ashtray/bowl designed by Erik (Ulrich) Lundberg Ebeltoft. Crafted from chamotte clay, it features a deep brown glaze and a red crackled glossy glaze on the interior. The bottom is marked with the words "LEHMANN DENMARK" and while little is known about the history of Lehmann Pottery, it was located on the island of Langeland. The brand was most active during the 60s and 70s, but eventually closed in 2016 under new management.
