Federal Clear Beer Glass

Check out this set of 4 hollow stem beer glasses by Federal Glass, dating back to 1971.  These are from the "Home entertainment set" pattern. They stack nicely and are marked with a little F in a shield on the bottom. Federal Glass Company started as a hand operation in Columbus, Ohio way back in the 1900s. Their starting products were pressed wares. Their manufacturing technique made use of metal forms and hot liquid glass. With this, they were able to create their own lines of glassware and produced different types of drinking glasses and other housewares until the plant was closed in 1979.
