A stunning late mid century modern cobalt blue glass plate by Kosta, Sweden. This art glass plate has a depiction of the legend of St. George slaying the dragon in gold with raised detail in the Scandinavian art fashion.This was issued in 1972 as Kosta's Annual Plate. It is signed with the Kosta logo on the back and also with the signature of the plate's designer, Vicke Lindstrand, one of the best known designers of Swedish glass and ceramics. The plate is in well-loved condition.
